Best Easter egg, courtesy of my mum. 🍄

John’s all-time favourite movie is the original Helen Slater Supergirl (I’m not exaggerating when I say that he knows it word-for-word), so for his birthday this year I commissioned the incredible IBTrav to create this original artwork. (Yes, the same IBTrav whose artwork I used for my tattoo!) I was so excited when I received this amazing finished design that my biggest struggle was not showing it to John the second it arrived! 💙❤️️

In all the years I lived in Japan, I never made it to the southern island of Kyushu. On my return trip this year, it’s where my journey began – in the southernmost prefecture of Kagoshima.
